Our Humble Beginnings!
Rosario Bona arrived in the United States from Canicatti, Sicily in 1911. Gracia (aka Gladys), his bride to be and also from Canicatti, arrived in 1916. They both had settled in Lee, Massachusetts and married in 1917. There they raised five children; Clara, Augustine, Mary, Antoinette and Anthony. Four of the five went on to have children of their own. In total, Nanu and Nana had 16 grandchildren, over 30 great grandchildren and the number of great, great great and great great great grandchildren continues to grow.
This website was created to celebrate that legacy and become a source of information on our history, our memories and future gatherings and activities. Please enjoy!
